The story of one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me and maybe a glimpse about why change is good.
One of my best friends may be moving to a whole nother country soon. The company she'll be working for flew her there to interview. She was back and forth about moving, as anyone would be because it's tough to challenge yourself to that much change in one swoop. The trip would determine which way she was leaning. To go or to stay, that is the question. When she returned she seemed happier than I had ever seen her and was enthusiastic about going. I made up an errand to the post office down the street so a tear could flow down my face. By the time I got back I was happy again and could properly express my support of her going on this new adventure. I asked her to tell me about what she did and saw while she was away. She started to and then said, "I'm just moving there so you will visit. I want you to travel. I thought of you so many times there. 'Wharman would get a kick out of all of this. She's got to see it'. So that's the deal. I'm going and you're visiting."
