CNet reports that The University of California at Berkeley is working on chips that will eliminate much of the pressure and anxiety that comes when a waiter asks you to taste the wine - with electronic nose vapor sensors! And they swear these semiconducting sommeliers will be an affordable assistant; they will do the sniffing and approving so you don't accidentally get any vino in your own schnoz.
