It's Kaloramawood

From the Adams Morgan listserve, which is a juicy place to know all the arguments for and against providing private corporations such as zipcar with public, preferred street parking. Also, you can learn some new and creative insults for using if you feel differently than someone else on a push-button topic such as neighborhood parking rules.

Dear Resident:

MRB Films will be filming a project in your area next week. The District Government has granted the production company permission to park their production vehicles from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on September 22, on the east side of 18th Street, NW between Kalorama Road and Columbia Road. We would appreciate your avoiding parking in the areas that have been posted with "Emergency No Parking" signs. In the event, that your vehicle is situated in such a "No Parking" zone, it will be towed away to a nearby location.
The Office of Motion Picture & Television Development and the Metropolitan Police Department are working very closely with the producers of this project to ensure that the production runs accordingly. Should you have any further concerns that are not addressed in the notice, please feel free to call us at 202/727-6608.
We regret any inconvenience and we appreciate your support of the Washington, DC film industry. With your cooperation, we can make the District a key part of the filming community, creating jobs and revenue for the people of this city.
Thank you.

Sincerely,
Crystal Palmer
