6:00am: Two poodles jump on my head and my boss is waking me up. She wants to catch the worm. I stumble into my suit and we procure a bucketful of minnows. We got a bunch of hits from the jetty, but the bugs were eating us alive, so we walked out to the beach for a little surfcasting. I wasn't optimistic, mostly because I've pretty much never seen anyone catch anything this way. Until I saw ME do it! This is what the bountiful beauty looked like (a striper):

I also hooked up a tiny little greenie:

Live baitfish will make the sport catching instead of fishing every time!

Of course you caught a fish - you always do!!

That's right. I'm a fish whisperer/murderer. Although this particular fish was set free and looked healthy as he soared away, many baitfish and the one greenie lost their lives this morning.
