The Smithsonian Horticulture people are showing the Orchid Express through May 1. They've got a lot of orchids and model trains, but you have to weave back through the dinosaurs to get there. It's worth it, orchids rock. Click here to see more photos...

The name "orchid" comes from the Greek root orkhis, meaning "testicle." Testicle Express...ALLLLL ABOOAAARRRD!

Give me a word, any word, and I'll show you how it's root is Greek. I thought the orchids actually looked more like female parts myself...
