DC PULSE
My neighbor Tada Burke has been working underground (literally, in the basement) for months in preparation to launch the area's newest indie rag, DC Pulse. He was behind the While You Were Sleeping project, as well as several other notable design projects, and landlord Bill claims, "He's the best graphic designer. From anywhere. Even New York and California. He's just the best."

So look for the first issue next month, I suspect there will be buzz. You can see the first articles and reviews on the website.

Snarf - he's Bill's tenant downstairs... I don't actually know him personally, but have heard lots about this new publication, and Bill was talking it up last night. I think they're "hiring" - and they do pay, so you should definitely talk to him, but Bill would be a better contact than me.
