SHE'LL BE COMING AROUND THE COURTROOM WHEN SHE COMES
The RIAA is at it again, this time filing 532 lawsuits against online music piraters. Occurring directly after a report published that piracy was up again in October and November of '03 following six months of steady decline.
Of course, b/c of the ruling last month, the RIAA had to file the suits against anonymous internet users. The ruling created an extra step in the legal process of identifying pirates, making the RIAA actually file a suit before they can subpeona the individual users and find out their identities. I'm interested to see how Verizon and other ISP's respond to this round of the fight.
