LAST NIGHT'S DCBU FUNDRAISER
I counted only 32 people in attendance at The State Theatre, so the DCBU probably goes home poorer rather than richer. The good news is that what I could hear of the show from the lobby area where I was selling T-shirts sounded like heaven. Bluegrass is a form of music I have only recently stumbled into, and although I don't know much yet, the sound makes me happy.

Allison Krauss has called Danny Paisley her favorite bluegrass voice, and he was an awfully nice man to speak with...

I especially enjoyed Marty Raybon when he was backed by the DCBU all star band. There's something about a loosely formed band of 8 who have NEVER played together before that makes a performance special.
